Part of Maximus
For more than 40 years, Maximus has been committed to improving the lives of people on an international scale through innovative and impactful programs that support governments, strengthen communities, and succeed in moving people forward.
Our experience and focus on robust governance and compliance practices and high quality servicing, make us a real leader and a reliable choice as a partner, both in Australia and globally. We consistently draw from, and contribute to, a focus on high standards which are trusted by government and business stakeholders alike.
Throughout our activities here in Australia, MAX draws on global experience to drive our local capabilities to develop and deliver the best service possible.
We work with governments around the world to develop and implement different ways of meeting workforce needs. As part of a global service provider, we observe, experience and share knowledge of a wide range of approaches in different geographies.
For example, driven by our established professional expertise and experience Maximus UK improves employability for people who are medium or long term unemployed through the Restart Scheme - directly through a combination of: building confidence; delivering skills training; and supporting work placement.
Delivered in Washington, DC by Maximus in the US, the Temporary Assistance for Needy Families (TANF) program provides work experience, work trials and mentoring backed up with co-ordinated supports such as training and health support services or local community services.
Here in Australia, we deliver Workforce Australia and Disability Employment Services with the same level of depth, understanding and experience, using well developed case management approaches to support individual needs as well as outcomes at scale.
We combine our knowledge of local health programs and needs with shared global best practice for individual and workplace health activities. A strong focus on clinical governance underpins everything we do.
Each year, highly trained doctors, nurses, physiotherapists and occupational therapists at Maximus UK carry out more than 1 million functional assessments on behalf of the Department for Work and Pensions to individuals who are claiming benefits.
Maximus USA delivers medical assessments via a mobile medical clinic approach for Veterans Evaluation Services, as well as aged care eligibility and assessments through the Maximus company Ascend, one of the largest assessment providers on behalf of government agencies in the US.
