MAX Solutions is proud to announce it has been awarded Disability Confident Recruiter Status by the Australian Network on Disability (AND). MAX is the first provider of both jobactive and Disability Employment Services (DES) and the only Registered Training Organisation in Australia to achieve the standard.
MAX was assessed against 18 key criterion which looked at the accessibility of candidate attraction, recruitment and application processes. The attainment of DCR status represents confidence and capability in an organisation’s ability to attract and recruit candidates with disability.
Ease of access to the organisation’s 250 offices, accessibility of internet and digital systems as well as alternative options for challenges faced by individuals through each stage of the processes are just some of the things addressed in the DCR accreditation process.
Managing Director Deborah Homewood said she was delighted with the achievement.

Disability Confident Recruiter is a program run by the Australian Network on Disability (AND), a national, membership based, for-purpose organisation that makes it easier for organisations to employ and do business with people with disability. It provides expert advice and professional services to employers, Government representatives and industry bodies. AND builds the expertise of more than 200 members, connects them with others, and supports them to check their progress against access and inclusion goals.
