Our delivery is designed to actively support adult learners.
Adults can face a wide range of barriers to learning. Family and time pressures, work responsibilities, lack of confidence, or even past learning difficulties - while challenges like these are not unique to adults, older students may experience one of more of these.
Under MAX Learning, we operate two Registered Training Organisations: MAX Solutions (MAX RTO: 0667) and Stirling Institute of Australia (SIA RTO: 21132), delivering training to a diverse cohort of students.

We can create new learning programs and ways of bringing those skills to where they are needed most.
Our focus on community and our capability to create positive change is apparent through our delivery of key adult-oriented courses, the program Skills for Education and Employment (SEE) and the Adult Migrant English Program. These are delivered in key locations where there is a need for both settled and newly-arrived adults to progress forwards in society through bridging language, literacy and numeracy skills gaps.
MAX’s experience providing both employment and training services gives us a deeper and relevant understanding of the link between an improved, transferable skillset, and greater employability. Whether a student intends to develop a pathway to career change, or just widen their scope towards more sustainable work, we tailor our support to student circumstances.
Our certificate level courses are all provided with flexible delivery methods, including:
- Face to face learning in our office locations.
- Online courses supported by the digital learning platform CANVAS and our MAX trainers, allowing students to learn as their schedule permits.
- For some vocational courses, we offer up to 24 months to achieve completion.
These opportunities ultimately maximise completion rates and outcomes for our adult students.
Our insight from work in employment services means we understand the labour market and where there are skills shortages. We work with small, medium and large employers on a daily basis and speak to local government about where the pressures exist.
