Fee-free training courses are now available for school leavers, young people and job seekers, as part of the NSW Government’s Smart and Skilled Entitlement Full Qualifications initiative.
Eligibility criteria for all Smart and Skilled Programs (except Smart and Skilled Entitlement Apprenticeships and Traineeships Program)
A person who is eligible to receive subsidised training in all Smart and Skilled Programs (except Smart and Skilled Entitlement Apprenticeships and Traineeships Program) is a person who, at the time of enrolment in a qualification or course on the NSW Skills List or a “short course” with a Smart and Skilled provider:
• Capital Region – Cert III Individual Support
• Hunter Valley (excl Newcastle) – Cert III Business & Cert III Individual Support
• Illawarra – Cert II Hospitality, Cert III Business, Cert III Community Services & Cert III Individual Support
• Newcastle and Lake Macquarie – Cert III Allied Health Assistance, Cert III Business, Cert III Individual Support
• Southern Highlands and Shoalhaven – Cert III Individual Support
• Sydney – Cert III Business, Cert III Community Services & Cert III Individual Support.
