MAX Foundation Donation Aims to Assist Employers Assess and Hire Autistic Talent

MAX Foundation providing support to national charity that helps employers understand and include the unique skills and capabilities of employees on the autism spectrum.

MAX Solutions’ charitable arm MAX Foundation has donated $5,000 to Specialisterne Australia, one of the first companies in the world to highlight the benefits of a neurodiverse workforce.

Specialisterne Australia National Manager, Vicky Little, said the donation will go a long way with assisting employers to understand, value and develop their capacity to identify and support the unique capabilities of people on the autism spectrum.

Specialisterne works with a range of organisations who want to diversify their workforce, helping employers and managers build their capabilities to support autistic staff members and sourcing individuals looking for careers in particular fields. So far Specialisterne have helped recruit employees in roles such as information technology, records management, agriculture and engineering.

MAX Foundation is MAX Employment’s charitable giving initiative, supported by the employees of MAX. MAX Foundation is dedicated to helping communities across the country, and provides grants of up to $5,000 to charities that support vulnerable communities, including disability, mental health, homelessness, migrant services, community support, employment and more.
